Joseph Harrison was the youngest of six children. In High School he was the first Black student body president and the captain of his football team. He won 3 Alonzo Stagg awards and made All City/All Redwood Empire in football.
It is said that it was tradition for the Homecoming Queen to get a kiss from the student body president, unless, of course the student body president was Black. That was 1967.
Joseph did not let such things slow him down. He grew and found a place in the banking industry. Loved golf and was active in the community.
