Kelly Bezayiff

Keith Robinson

Every family has that “Go to” person. The person that is always there when needed. The person that is rarely thanked, if at all. In our family that person is my sister Kelly.

Dionne Warwick sung a song back in 1963 called “What the World Needs Now is Love Sweet Love”

Kelly was there for my mother before she passed. Always around. Visiting daily. Helping her with the day- to-day things that get harder as you age.

Kelly is there for my father right now. Going to doctor appointments, picking up medicine, listening to his views on world news. She even bowls with him on his bowling team.

She is a grandmother like no other. Kelly lives in northern California but in a heartbeat will travel to southern California (about an 8 hour drive) to go see her grandchildren. Her grandchildren know her as Lolli. And there is no doubt that they know her. She is the grandma that every child wants.

And you know what else? She rides a Harley! Whaaaaaat?  She will travel up and down the California coast on her bike alone going to women’s events. She also goes on motorcycle rides with her adult children.

How many mothers, grandmas, sisters, aunties and daughters you know that do all that? I only know one…That’s my sister Kelly! There ain’t nothing she can’t do!

For all you do Kelly, I thank you and I love you.

Kelly on one of her solo motorcycle trips down the coast of California. Stopped in Soledad to get a blessing from Keith’s Mother-in-law.
